The Eastman Octave Mandolin, in a striking Goldburst finish, offers a blend of superb craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal. It features a three-piece maple/mahogany/maple neck and an ebony fingerboard with a 12" radius, complemented by a bone nut and 23 Jescar frets on a 21" scale. The body, made of solid spruce top and solid maple back and sides, measures 12" x 15 5/8" x 1 27/32", ensuring a rich, resonant tone. Gloss finishes on both the body and neck accentuate its ivoroid binding and pearl block inlays. This instrument is equipped with high-quality nickel hardware, including an Eastman cast aluminum tailpiece and Pingwell RM-11583N-26A tuners, as well as K&K Mandolin Duotone pickups for versatile playing.
