Harmony H-162 Acoustic Guitar - Consignment

This Nichols B-2 is a unique “Born Twice” restoration, built from a vintage Kay or Harmony guitar and completely reimagined by Nichols. The builder removes the original ladder bracing and installs scalloped X-braces for a modern, resonant tone while preserving the instrument’s vintage soul. Upgrades typically include a 2-way truss rod, new maple or dogwood bridge plate, modern tuners, bone nut and saddle, and a full setup for excellent playability.

These guitars are crafted to be players’ instruments—light, responsive, and full of character, often retaining the cosmetic marks that tell their story. A wonderful blend of vintage tone and modern craftsmanship.
