This is a Gold Tone AC-5 beginner bluegrass banjo. It has a composite shell and composite resonator back that keeps it light and durable. The tone is punchy on the fourth string, with clear high notes. It is easy to play and a good choice for a first banjo, a child's banjo, or a travel banjo.
