This OB-3RF is a recreation of JD Crowe’s legendary RB-3 “Banger.” It features a no-hole bell brass flathead tone ring, 11" 3-ply Canadian maple rim, mahogany neck and resonator with slanted sidewalls, and a radiused ebony fingerboard for extra comfort. Loaded with Gotoh planetary tuners, Leaves & Bows inlays, Presto tailpiece, and a one-piece cast flange. Bright, punchy, and powerful with that classic pre-war bluegrass tone.
